Final Record: (10-0-1)
Andddd just like that the 2023 spring Sexto division is a wrap. Our guys finished off the season with a 3-0 win on June 3rd against Bink FC. This win extended their record to 10-0-1. This also meant that Sob FC has now won 9 games on the bounce. After the game trophy celebrations took place to celebrate Sob FC's regular season accomplishments. Winning the Sexto division not only guarantees Sob a spot in the Fall's Quinto division, but it also booked the boys a spot in Casa's major post season tournament the Kelly Cup.
The boys drew illyrian FC as their opposition for round 1 of the tournament on June 6th. illyrian FC was a well established side that won their division (trecera division) respectively. The boys knew it would be a challenge and sure enough it was. After an evenly matched first half ending 2-1 to illyrian a win still looked very hopeful for Sewell. However, after the half everything seemed to fall apart ending Sewell Old Boys FC's season. The final result ended up being a 5-1 defeat.
Now it's time for the club to look forward and prepare for a huge summer. Throughout the summer the squad will be training regularly as well as participating in a few friendlies as ways to prepare for the upcoming fall season. The coaches and players couldn't be more excited for what's to come for the rest of this year.
Now it's time to announce some individual awards. The first award I'd like to announce is the May player of the month. Our player of the month this time around is Fred Renzulli! Fred had a great month collecting a goal and 2 assists in some huge games. This brought his season total up to 2 goals and 7 assist. Overall, he really helped to control the midfield and get them over the finish line in last months massive double header.
May POTM: Fred Renzulli

Next up we have the final award of the season. This one is for who the coaches deemed to be the player of the season. The winner of this award is drum rollllll pleaseeee Jake Fisher!!! Jake was solid in goal all season and really came up big when it mattered most. He was amazing for us all season having only conceded 8 goals all season. Jake along with his defenders grabbed themselves 5 clean sheets this season. It was truly an impressive season for our man Fish.
