Record: (5-2-1)
The month of October is in the books and it's time to take a look at how the Sewell Old Boy's got on. Things looked good for the boys winning their first three games of the month continuing their unbeaten record. The results of these matches were as follows: 2-1 W verse WOLF PAC, 5-0 W verse TBC FC, and a 1-0 W verse Philly Saint Germain. Unfortunately this great run of form came to an end at the last game of the month. Sewell closed out October with a 0-2 loss to Spring Garden SC. This loss was Sewell Old Boys FC's first loss in regular season history. Ultimately this loss means Sewell must take a new approach towards promotion. Now with a 5-2-1 record finishing first place and being automatically promoted is out of the picture. With that being said the only way up is through earning it by winning the promotion playoffs.
Our player of the month for October was midfielder Fred Renzulli. He really shined this month, tallying 2 goals and 2 assists. The most notable parts of his game this month have been his composure in the middle of the park, and his chance creation over this month-long period.
October POTM: Fred Renzulli
